2024 UK Tour Dates
This autumn Richard Chappell Dance (RCD) presents three different works that highlight the Company's ethos to share innovative productions, develop emerging talent, and take dance to spaces outside the theatre.
On 7 September RCD's new outdoor creation Land Empathy will be performed at a major London site to be confirmed shortly. Building on the Company's climate activism film Heart Land, this new show features two dancers, original sculptures and a pulsating score to weave a powerful narrative that helps foster climate consciousness and convey a passionate message of urgency for the future.
AMPLIFY, a new mixed bill, comes to Exeter Northcott on 18 September. Celebrating the relationship between dance and music, AMPLIFY shines a light on the choreographic voices from dancers in the Company. Featuring I am a problem by Simone Donati, SPLICE by Ekleido and an extract from RCD's Land Empathy.
Following its UK tour Hot House will make its London Premiere on 1 October at The Place. A passionate response to the cost-of-living crisis where protest becomes party, Hot House invites audiences to consider how the impact of the crisis can be turned into a defiant celebration of collective resilience.
